International Priority Airmail ("IPA")
IPA is a priority airmail service specifically designed by the USPS for volume mailings. It is perfect for all types of time-sensitive mail including invoices, bank statements and small sample merchandise packages. IPA is offered worldwide with transit times of 3 to 7 days. The mail travels to the destination country via air and is then distributed within that country as priority mail.
International Surface Air Lift ("ISAL")
ISAL is a bulk mailing system providing fast, economical delivery of publications, advertising mail, catalogs, directories, books or other printed matter. ISAL service is offered to 127 countries and carries average transit times of 7 to 14 days. The mail travels to the destination country via air and is then distributed within that country’s postal system as standard mail.
Global Bulk Economy ("GBE")
GBE service provides lower cost international delivery of letter-post items. Mailings are entered at the New Jersey International and Bulk Mail Center, the Chicago Bulk Mail Center and the Oakland International Service Facility, and then dispatched by the USPS via surface transportation to any of the 214 destinations. Transit times average 21 to 40 days. This option may be acceptable for large promotional mailings.
